Introduction
Kamloops has many fun places for kids and even adults to let loose and explore while they are here. I covered three establishments that I think are important to know about as they are hands down the best places in Kamloops to have fun at. The three establishments I covered are Fun Factor, Fun &Games, and Jump 360. All three of these places differ in one way or another and have their own little things that stand out and make them unique.
These places are perfect for afternoon activities, kids birthday parties, or even a date! All three locations provide the options of private parties/ sectional closes if you are wanting to rent out the space for an event.
In addition to having varieties of games and activities they also provide snacks and drinks at each location. During a private event all three locations mentioned that they do catering with pizza or anything other kind of fast food you desire. These locations need to be known as too many people have been sitting around in their house bored and not having anything to do. Now, maybe you will have an idea of where to go.
Jump 360
Pricing:
- Parents & Toddlers – $10
- 4-11 year olds – $12
- 12+ – $18
At Jump360 they have a massive set of trampolines, battle beam, log roll, basketball, dodgeball, and a Kidzone for the toddlers. At every set up there is airbags and foam pits for everyones safety so no one will get hurt.
They give you grip socks in order to avoid slipping around when bouncing on the trampoline. This place stands out as not only do they mainly focus on trampoline sports and activities but there is also an arcade section if you want to take a break from bouncing.
Fun & Games (Formerly Ruckers)
Pricing:
- Lazer Tag ( Regular $5, Endurance $10, Marathon $25)
- Virtual reality (One game $5, One hour $25)
This place is neat as it has a massive arcade with over 30 games to choose from. The thing that makes Fun&Games stand out is that it now has virtual reality sets which come in mini pods that you can sit in and join a different type of reality for however long you are wanting. There are also 50 different games/realities that you can join when you start.
Lazer tag is also very popular here. I would say it is better for big parties as the space is quite big. You can choose how long you go in and the points you get determine on what level you decide on.
Fun Factor
Pricing:
- Mini golf ($7 per person)
- Lazer tag (Standard $7, Extreme $10)
- Lazer maze ($3 per game)
Lastly but certainly not least we have Fun Factor. Again, this place has over 30 arcade games of your choice that you can play at. Tokens can be bought at the front desk.
The unique thing about this place is certainly their lazer maze that they have. The concept behind this is getting to the other side without setting off the alarm. Much like an action movie. They also have lazer tag right beside the place that is perfect for large groups or just two friends that want to compete.
Their glow in the dark mini golf is also a must when visiting. Elaborate and a lot of fun. Definitely worth checking out.
