I am a huge fan of Mexican food, more of a taco lover! I have tried many taco places in Mexico City. Some are amazing, and some are nasty. In this blog, I will recommend the top 3 taco restaurants (at least I think so) in Mexico City!
1. Taqueria Los Pericos

One of the best places for tacos al pastor in the city, the meat was super juicy. I love the sauce even it was a bit too spicy for me. We came here for dinner and it was super busy. It is a clean and nice spot to eat cheap and tasty tacos. I paid only $5 for 13 pieces of tacos! The service is one of the best in the area. I would recommend this place for a quick lunch or dinner. It’s about 10 min away from Eugenia metro station, but uber would also be a great option as uber in Mexico is very cheap!
2. Tacos Tony

We tried a lot of street tacos. Tacos Tony was my favorite for sure! The meat was fresh, the salsa was great, and everything was cooked just right. We tried the rib meat taco and it was super delicious. This street food stand is very well known, and there was constant stream of people lined up the whole time. If you are looking for authentic flavor of CDMX, this is the place to go!
3. El Vilsito

El Vilsito deserves all the attention it gets! It is an auto garage by day and hip taco restaurant by night. We had gringa which is like 8 tacos in one and it was so nice that I wish I could eat it every day. The meat was flavourful and the salsa was great too. However, it was crowded and hard to find a table. They have an English-speaking waiter and it was very helpful. It became even more popular after the Netflix show. I have included the show below.
