$8.99 – that was the price of 3 romaine lettuce I noticed while walking down the aisles of Superstore. I don’t know about you, but I have never walked away from an aisle that fast before. As the cost of food rises, it is hard for broke university students like me to get good quality food for a cheap price.

Wing nights to the rescue!

Wing nights are special deals (usually offered by Pubs) on wings at an affordable rate. While most places require you to buy at least one drink to redeem this deal (it can be non-alcoholic as well!), the low-cost prices of these wings definitely make it worth it. In this blog, I will talk about different places that offer wing nights in Kamloops. Initially, I will be highlighting one place per weekday but at the very end of the blog, there is a list of several places that offer wing nights which can be used by anyone! I hope this blog is helpful to universities students like me or just people in general who like to ball on a small budget 😉

The only place on my list that does an exclusive Chicken wing deal on a Monday! Close to the university, this place is bustling with laughter and the smell of good food. Decent chicken wings with 13 different flavours to choose from!

Yet another sole location for exclusive chicken wings deals on Tuesday! With lovely interiors and a chill atmosphere, this is my go-to place anytime I’m up the hill. Their chicken wings are pretty good and are available in 13 different flavours!

Wednesday: Alchemy Brewing Company

One of my favourite places in town. They organize really unique events like art nights and also have a lot of entertainment like arcade games and a pool. One of THE BEST chicken wings in Kamloops here in more than 18 flavours! If you ask your waitress (nicely) about the off-menu hot sauces (which are VERY HOT), she’ll indulge you in some fiery hot sauces like the Venom and Tropical Thunder. Let me tell you, THEY ARE HOT. So if you want to challenge your spice buds, this is the place to go.

Note: When you order special sauces like the off-menu sauces, they may charge you an additional $2.

Thursday: Central Station Pub

This place has one of the best atmospheres when it comes to pubs. The karaoke nights never fail to lift my mood! I definitely enjoy eating my wings while also singing along with the entire pub to Taylor Swift songs. The wings here are pretty good with 13 different flavours!

Friday: Frick and Frack

With one of the best and most accessible locations in Kamloops, Frick and Frack is the primary hangout spot for me and my friends. Though they do not have an exclusive wing night on Friday, you can buy chicken wings during the happy hours for a cheap price! They provide 11 different flavours for you to try from.
