Thompsons Rivers University has so many beneficial features for students. Located in heart of interior British Columbia Thompson Rivers University offers students a unique and amazing educational experience. We would like to share our greatest experience in TRU. We will shortly talk about some options for students that are available at TRU from fields of sports and wellness, quite spaces for studying, and entertainment and landscape that students can enjoy.

One of the features we looked at was sports and wellness. TRU is home to the Wolfpack who play multiple different sports at the Tournament Capital Centre. TRU offers students a vast array of athletics to choose from. The tournament capital centre is one of the finest sports venues all of British Columbia. has to offer. It comes equipped with multiple basketball courts, a running track, a gym, a soccer and baseball field and an aquatic centre. The university also offers a host of intramural sports for students to participate in throughout the school year. Students organise games against one another compete in a tournament.

As for entertainment part, TRU offers a Wellness opportunities for students. The university hosts a Dog Therapy day every Thursday from 10 am till 2 pm. This event eases anxiety, sadness, loneliness and fear for some students. Also, this is a wonderful possibility for students to take their minds off the stress of classes and school work for a little while. Furthermore, the Wellness Center offers mediation drops in so students can talk to other students about different situations in their lives. Throughout the school year the wellness centre puts on numerous events you just have to keep an eye on their calendar!

TRU offers a wide variety of a quite spaces for mindful study, all the buildings can be used as working spaces. But the once that can offer a quite atmosphere are TRU libraries, and computer labs in the Old Main. Also, the Main Library sometimes organizes the Long Night Against Procrastination, where it provides students with coffee, snakes and pizza. Another strong point, that every TRU program equipped with all the required features for efficient studying. For instance, Communications and Journalism students have an access to the special labs, with Mac computers, Cameras and other equipment that might be used during the learning processes. Computer science students using special labs during their learning. The Law students have an access to the library, designed for them. And the Arts students are welcomed to the Art studios.

Landscapes is another strongest characteristic feature that TRU should be proud of. The campus located between the Upper Sahali and Downtown of Kamloops. There are many events being organized on picturesque landscapes of campus by TRU SU clubs, just like recent once the Barbeque, the Clubs day and the Movie-Night.

We usually enjoy walking around the campus during the class-breaks. And the Horticulture Gardens is a great spot for Reading and can inspire for new ideas.
